Kuicai Dong

Hi, I am Kuicai Dong (董奎材). I joined Huawei Singapore Search & Recommendation Lab as AI researcher in Aug 2023, working on multimodal retrieval and agentic systems. My research interests primarily focus on Agentic RAG, Information Retrieval & Extraction, LLM for Recommendation, and enhancing the capabilities of (multimodal) LLMs to address real-world challenges.

I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the College of Computing and Data Science at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in Aug 2023, under the supervision of Professor Aixin Sun and Professor Xiaoli Li. I was attached to Institute for Infocomm Research (A*STAR I²R) as research intern during 2019 to 2023. Before that, I obtained my B.Eng. from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at NTU in June 2016.
